A Beaumont woman has filed a lawsuit seeking compensation for injuries sustained when she was allegedly thrown from a golf cart.

Patsy Ann Monson claims that while being taken to view a cemetery lot for sale at Greenlawn Memorial Park, she was violently thrown from the golf cart by the employee driving the golf cart.

As a result of the incident Monson suffered injuries to her neck, back, knee, and general bodily injury, according to the complaint.

Monson claims that golf cart’s driver failed to keep a proper lookout, drove too fast and failed to operate the vehicle in safe manner which resulted in her injuries.

According to the complaint, Monson has experienced physical pain and suffering as well as impairment and mental anguish. She is seeking an unspecified judgment plus interest and any other relief the court deems just.
