The U.S. Consumer Product Saftey commission in cooperation with Fun Stuff Inc. have announced the recall of three children’s toys due to an increased choking risk.
The recalled items include about 14,400 Klick, Klick Balls, 7,900 BoBo Balls as well as 14,400 Click Armband Bracelets.
The recalled toys are made of stretchy rubber and have tentacle-like protrusions extending out from the center. Small plastic balls attached to the end of these protrusions can detach and can pose a serious choking risk to young children.
The CPSC has received one report of a detached ball being found in 21-month old’s mouth. Thankfully the child was not injured.
Parents whose children may be in possession of these recalled toys should immediately take them away and return the item to the retailer where the item was purchased or contact Fun Stuff for a full refund.
For more information and to see pictures of the recalled items check the CPSC website here or visit the Fun Stuff website here.
