If your child plays at parks and enjoys the swing sets, then this is something you need to read. As of February 4, 2009, about 700 Arch Swing Sets manufactured by Playland International have been recalled due to a fall hazard. At the top of the swing frame is a faulty piece of metal that can cause the top bar to fall, thus resulting in a fall and impact hazard to the child at play, or even innocent bystanders. There has already been one reported incident of a child suffering a head injury due to the faulty bar landing on the top of the child’s head.
If you or a loved one has been affected by this faulty piece of equipment then immediately call Playland International at (800) 356-4727.
