Think you might have Nephrogenic Systematic Fibrosis? Do your symptoms include swelling of the skin, tightening of the skin, wood-like skin, thickened skin that inhibits flexion and extension of joints, distorted skin, reddened skin, dark skin patches, skin bumps, skin plaque, burning skin, itching skin, inability to walk, muscle weakness, deep bone pain, or hypertension? The only way to get Nephrogenic systematic fibrosis is from gadolinium injections given during MRI and MRA scans, and the only patients who would have been given the injections were the ones suffering from kidney problems at the time of the scans.

There have already been at least 200 cases of NSF in the Unites States alone, and the numbers are continuing to grow. Once diagnosed with NSF there are no known successful treatments to improve the quality of life, and often times NSF is fatal. In May 2007, the FDA sent out a black box warning, but was it too late? The companies that manufacture the toxic gadolinium injections have known for years the threat that it poses on the users. It creates severe risks when it looses the chemical coating used to keep it from contacting human tissue. When the gadolinium stays in the body too long, the coating becomes lost, and this is what happens to people whose kidneys are not functioning properly.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with NSF caused by gadolinium injections, then you may be eligible for a product negligence lawsuit. Contact Reich and Binstock Law firm to help you with your evaluation today.
